About this event
TEDWomen presents an exciting opportunity for the TEDx community to participate in a global TED conference centered around women. TEDWomen will celebrate women and girls around the world by convening a worldwide, global event.
What is TEDWomen?
On December 7 and 8, 2010, in an unprecedented partnership, TED and The Paley Center for Media will produce the first-ever TEDWomen: a gathering of global thought leaders and innovators in Washington, DC, connecting to thousands of online participants and self-organized events around the world.
The cross-disciplinary, cross-generational program will focus on how women think and work, communicate and collaborate, learn and lead. The program will explore what this means and why it matters to all of us.
