For this Salon event, we gather around the topics surrounding ‘Women’; women who have a history of brilliance that allows us, at TEDxWarwick, to feel a sense of honour by having them on our stage, telling stories that deserve an audience, spreading ideas that deserve to be heard.

While recognising its importance, we do not confine our conception of the issue to a strictly feminist discourse. At TEDxWarwick, we encompass a broader range of activity, ideology, and dialogues from remarkable thinkers and doers. Standing on the shoulder of giants, as it were, we aim to expand your field of vision and to stimulate the mind with a line-up of incredible speakers and videos, touching on everything from the art of writing & speaking to governance. It will be an afternoon of curiosity and inspiration because, far from being a mere presentation of ideas, TEDxWarwickSalon cements a recognition of women that is, arguably, far overdue.
