Annika Steiber is one of few researchers who have been studying Google from the inside for almost 1 year and tried to answer the question what drives Google’s innovation capacity.
Annika took her PhD in management and organization for increased innovation at Chalmers University of Technology and works today, after almost 20 years in the high tech industry, both as a researcher in the fields of “Management for Continuous Innovation” and “Open Innovation” and as the Nordic manager and advisor at the innovation specialists Strategos Inc. founded by the management guru Gary Hamel in 1995.
In 2014 she releases the book ‘The Google Model-management for continuous innovation in a Rapidly changing world’.
Åsa is a swedish freelance writer based in Luleå, Norrbotten. She writes editorials at Dagens Arena and comments policy and politics at Aftonbladet Debatt.
Her main focus in writing is how to achieve gender equality, how to fight racism and how to stop homophobia. Åsa strongly believes that all of us must have the right to choose and live our own lives. On this subject she has written three books.
Åsa has been writing all of her grown life. For a short period in 2003-2004 she worked as a political advisor to Mona Sahlin, at the time swedish minister for gender equality. In 2006, Åsa recieved the rainbow prize at Stockholm Pride.
Peter Majanen is CEO of Quattroporte, an agency specialising in trend research, innovation and communication. He has spent the past 20 years analysing trends and values, and was previously Head of Research at Demoskop and Director of Kreab Gavin Andersson. Peter is a classically trained musician at the Malmö Academy of Music and has studied social sciences at Lund University as well as design at the Domus Academy in Milan.
Peter has authored books on the future of elderly care and the patient of the future. A former Swedish junior champion of shot put. During 2013-14 he is recording music with singer/producer Gino Vannelli. Peter grew up in Kalix, Norrbotten.
A native of the USA, Kelly has been living and working in Europe for the past 25 years. Holding both a degree in theology and an MBA he is sometimes called the “Pastor turned Businessman”. He is the master of metaphors and transfer complex concepts into simple, practical and actionable strategies. Kelly has written the book; “World’s Shortest Marketing Plan” and will soon publish “Ten Commandments for Leaders”.
Kelly Odell is born in Oklahoma and now living in Sweden. Kelly has many years’ management experience in global corporations including Managing Director for Whirlpool Corporation in Sweden, President of Telia Mobile Sweden; and Senior Vice President, Head of Group Marketing, for TeliaSonera Corporation, the largest telecom operator in the Nordic region.
Paolo Nespoli is an Italian astronaut with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Paolo has worked in an Aerospace R&D Lab, as an astronaut instructor and a training liaison engineer. In 1998 he was selected as an astronaut by the Italian Space Agency, integrated into ESA’s European Astronaut Corps, and transferred to NASA Johnson Space Center for obtaining the necessary qualification for flying on the Space Shuttle and International Space Station.
Nine years later he travelled into space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery as a mission specialist and three years later he flew again aboard the Soyuz TMA-20 spacecraft as flight engineer.
Paolo is currently a Senior Astronaut of the ESA’s European Astronaut Corps and carries out a variety of technical assignments. He is further a professional engineer, private pilot, advanced scuba diver, master parachutist and a Special Forces operator.
Per Wimmer – is expected to be the first Dane in space
He is signed up for three trips to space and have completed almost all of his space training. On Oct 6, 2008, Per Wimmer wrote world history, together with Ralph Mitchell, by successful completing the first tandem sky dive over the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest. In brief, Per Wimmer is a global financier, an entrepreneur, an adventurer, a pioneer and a philanthropist – or, as a commentator has argued, a true “Indiana Jones meets 007 James Bond.” Back in London, Per owns and runs his own investment bank, Wimmer Financial which he founded on the 50th anniversary of Sputnik day, Oct 4, 2007. His investment bank specializes in global corporate finance, shares trading, real estate and oil services.
Jens Thoms Ivarsson - Transforming ideas into experiences. Jens Thoms Ivarsson is a designer who has worked with craft, design and creativity for most of his life. Jens has been teaching about creativity and the design process at universities in Sweden and Chile. His main focus is to transform everyday products into experiences. No matter if it’s a printing machine for Mitsubishi in Japan, amusement park in Sweden or renovating a hundred year old stone stairs.
Jens is now head of design at ICEHOTEL and has created more than 20 ice bars all over the world. He loves the liberating feeling in working with a material that doesnt last as well as playing the drums in his hard rock band.

As the Head of Design & Innovation at AB Centek at Luleå University of Technology, she is responsible for initiating, developing and managing Design & Innovation projects including private businesses and public organizations.
She is passionate about regional development and she is convinced that we can create regional growth through Destination Design. Destination Design is about highlighting an identity and reinforce it through design and architecture. Destination Design is also about the experience and the branding of a place.
The goal is to create a common theme in the buildings, the events and in the presentation of a place to make it more attractive. A place that residents are really proud of. Simply a better place to visit, live and work in.
Anders Lundgren – Places, roles and time
Anders works at LKAB, Urban Transformation as head of development. He is an economic geographer and live in Kiruna and has been working with urban transformation since 2005.
Anders has been doing research at Umeå University on regional economy, time geography and micro simulation. He was formerly strategist at Kiruna municipality.
He is fascinated by the transformation of places over time and how simulation models can predict outcomes in transformation processes. Anders also loves to dispatch myths with facts. Skiing, hunting, sled dogs and watercolour fulfills his equation.
