  • Anshul Pathania
    Anshul Pathania has worked as a financial and business advisor, focusing on the development of value in situations of acquired businesses and turnaround. He has always been aware of the dearth of financial education available to people and has embarked on a mission to enable people to manage their finances better. He has helped many businesses develop and implement winning strategies and drive shareholder value.His company, The Big Bottle runs the website www.soundfinancialplans.com that offers free financial plans to assist anyone in taking control of their finances and creating a secure financial future.
  • Rakesh Biswas
    Rakesh Biswas is the Founder and Chairman of the International Youth Society Of Eco Friendly And Renewable Technology (IYSERT) & has thus, chaired numerous national & international conferences on renewable technology & environmental affairs. Along with this, he is also the youngest Indian to have 7 applied patents & 25 research papers. Mr.Rakesh is currently working research projects related to renewable technology & waste management & has been honored by numerous organizations including being voted as the Top Entrepreneur at the Golden Nib Fellowship Awards.
  • Sam White
    Sam White, along with Sorin Grama, co-founded Promethean Power Systems in 2007. Promethean Power is a thermal battery technology start-up that enables cold-storage of perishable foods where there is unreliable power supply. Today, this revolutionary battery eliminates the need for a diesel generator when chilling milk at villages, something possible only for the first time in India's history. Sam has used his rich network in India to attack deployment challenges by helping Promethean Power seek strategic partners, customers, funding sources and publicity. Sam was also the catalyst for rapid growth and the deployment of new business models and technologies in his previous two start-ups, GetConnected and Smartleaf and recently co-founded Greentown Labs, the largest cleantech incubator space in the US.
  • Shweta Chari
    Every great journey starts with a tiny step. Shweta Chari’s started with a simple thought, she wanted to ensure that every child had a toy. After having completed her engineering courses in 2004, she decided that rather than attaining an IT job in the US, her real calling was in putting her one simple thought into action & thus, now handles Toybank’s core strategies. The organization, armed with the belief that giving underprivileged children toys results in the betterment of society, aims at procuring toys from children with plenty of access to them & giving it to those children who lack toys. The organization currently operates in 6 cities with 70,000 children now having access to the organization.
  • Birad Yajnik
    Birad Rajaram Yajnik is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, curator and photographer. Recently, he created the ‘KING – Gandhi Wall’ – an interactive art installation on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi at the Howard University in Washington D.C. In 2010, his Limited Edition book ‘MKG – Imaging Peace Truth Ahimsa’ was previewed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and released by the President at the United Nations to mark the International Day of Non-Violence. Since 2010, he has spoken at the Nehru Centre in London, the Tolstoy farm in Johannesburg, at the Jaipur Literature Festival and at the event – THE SPIRIT OF GANDHI AT TAHRIR SQUARE in Cairo. In May 2013, he was invited to South Africa by the Gandhi Development Trust for a lecture series on Mahatma Gandhi in the 21st century at the Durban University of Technology. His initiative in collaborative art produced the Ahimsa Harley.
  • Yamini Prashanth
    One of India’s youngest published authors, at 12, Yamini Prashanth is the author & illustrator of “Mishti”, a children’s novella that’s been reviewed by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. As an avid reader, she’s written two other books, "Granny Bumble's Collection of Short Stories", a collection of 20 short stories & “Mulbery Meadows”, a story about 5 horses.
  • Varun Zinje
    “The singer has everything within him. The notes come out from his life. There are no materials gathered from outside.” This quote by Rabindranath Tagore inspired Varun Zinje a.k.a Morchangwala to take his art of playing the Morchang to the streets of Mumbai. He plans to educate music lovers around the world about the instrument and it’s relation to Indian culture. Varun started playing the Morchang only a few years back and had no knowledge about Indian folk music, however after spending hours of practice on an old rusty instrument without any guidance from a teacher, he came up with his own unique way of playing the instrument. He believes that the only way to save this unique instrument from extinction is to play it as if the instrument belonged to this period of time, thus he incorporates modern day drum & bass music into the tunes he plays.
  • Siddharth GJ
    Siddharth’s story is one of some great motivation. As a person suffering from Cerebral Palsy, post a jaundice attack when he was only a few days old, his speech clarity & body movement have been significantly impaired. Having said this though, Siddharth has never let this condition as an impediment to his achievements and goals. Siddharth excelled as a young child, having completed his graduation in Commerce & masters in Economics. Furthermore, he is a Certified Documentary Credit Specialist from Institute of Financial Services-UK. Along with this, Siddharth is a motivational speaker & in doing so interacts with audiences of different backgrounds. Given his exemplary work in building awareness and helping people with “special needs” he has been even awarded the National award, by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, for the “Best Employee with Cerebral Palsy”. He has also been awarded the NCPEDP-Shell Helen Keller Award.
  • Ashok Kurien
    Ashok Kurien has been in the business of building brands for over 35 years, particularly in the fields of Media, Marketing and Communications. An early bird, Ashok Kurien has the keen eye of driving start-ups in emerging businesses, helping in guiding them to size and scale. These include Advertising, TV, Lottery, PR and dot coms, where he both, invested and mentored, creating resounding success stories. Ashok’s passion to ‘go on his own’ fired his ambition, resulting in the formation of Ambience Advertising in 1987. The most formidable creative powerhouse in its first decade, it was later sold to the Publicis Groupe. He is a Promoter at Livinguard Technologies, the World’s First and Only Permanently Disinfecting Textile Technology, a new concept which produces low costwater filters, in order to provide clean and pure bacteria free drinking water.
  • Parmesh Shahani
    Parmesh Shahani, listed in 2012 as one of 25 Indians to watch out for by Financial Times, is the head of the Godrej India Culture Lab - an experimental idea-space that cross-pollinates the best ideas and people working on India from across the academic, creative and corporate worlds to explore what it means to be modern and Indian. In addition, Parmesh also serves as the Editor-at-large for Verve magazine, India. Parmesh is a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA. He is a TED Fellow, an MIT Futures of Entertainment Fellow, and a Utrecht University-Impakt Fellow. His book - Gay Bombay: Globalization, Love and (Be)Longing in Contemporary India (Sage Publications) was released in 2008.
  • Raghav Sood
    Raghav Sood, 16, is a New Delhi based entrepreneur [Founder/CEO of Appaholics LLC] . He has been working with computers since the age of 9, and has worked on multiple platforms and technologies. These days, he focuses on mobile systems like Android, and is working on cutting edge Augmented Reality hardware and software. At the age of 15, he published a book named 'Pro Android Augmented Reality' & has since been working on new areas of the Augumented Reality Field. Raghav was invited by Google to attend Google I/O, Google's biggest developer conference, in May in recognition of his achievements and contributions on the Android platform.He has published several Android Apps and 2 BlackBerry ones. In addition to developing more Android, Blackberry and iOS Apps, his apps have been downloaded more than 100,000 times
  • Amitava Ghosh
    Amitava Ghosh is a doctoral student at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, with research interests in the future of cloud computing, branchless banking & FDI. An excellent student, Mr.Ghosh, has attained paramount success in the various Olympiads he has taken part in. On top of this, he has been a judge at numerous Business Plan Contests. Currently, he's working on the National Facilitator for Change Givers, a national mission aimed at the 600 million youth of the country.
  • Saket Modi
    Saket Modi is an Indian entrepreneur and ethical hacker. He is the co-founder and CEO of Lucideus Tech, an information security company involved with securing government and corporate web services. Having personally trained over 10,000 students in more than 100 colleges globally on cyber security, he has been awarded the title of "Indian Ambassador of Cyber Security in Education" by the Chairman of AICTE at the National Education Award; 2013.He is commonly referred to as the "Indian Firewall" and is a frequent technology writer in the Indian media.
  • Naveen Kumar
    Naveen Kumar is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Sudiksha Knowledge Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Hyderabad, an organization that provides quality education to the poor at affordable costs and also provides an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to manage and run schools for the Base of the Pyramid (BoP) community. The school's philosophy is to ensure that parents understand what children are learning at schools & the reasons for their ongoing assessments as well as to improve the access to technology for these students.

    Elsie Nanji is a managing partner at Red Lion (voted one of the top ten best design brands in 2008), the design wing of Publicis India, and is a multiple award winner at both Indian and International award shows, and a jury member at the Clio Awards, Cannes Lions, D&AD and The One Show repeatedly. She was the founding partner of Ambience, an advertising agency that has featured in the top five creative agency lists from the very first year it opened its doors … 20 years ago. Her design for the Olive Restaurant chain earned the latter a place in the Gold List of the Condé Nast Traveler magazine in 2004. More recently, her design for AER, the Four Seasons rooftop bar in Mumbai has been awarded the title of the “World’s Best Rooftop Bar” by the Architectural Design.
