What are you curious about? – That was the creative slogan of the second annual TEDxStendenUniversity which took place on 15th of May in the Auditorium of Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden. Local and international Curious Minds were united for a unique day of inspirational talks and innovative ideas. The topics of the talks varied from misleading self-perception and suspension of disbelieve over value creation in social businesses to the creation of new educational and learning systems for children. The whole event was revolved around the overall theme: a dance act, an arts exhibition by Max Schertz (UrbanCandles) and Naggennia Castro as well as interactive mind games encouraged guests to become more creative.

TEDxStendenUniversity is an independently organized event focused on ‘Ideas worth spreading’. The event has been created by and for the community of the Stenden University of Applied Sciences to unleash potential among students, staff, alumni and relations. The aim is to offer an interesting and diverse program of speakers and artists from within and outside the Stenden community - a program that contributes to a sustainable society.

TEDxStendenUniversity is directed by International students of Leisure Management. TEDxStendenUniversity takes place each year in Spring at Stenden University of Applied Sciences in Leeuwarden!
