Pakistānas pedagogs Ziaudīns Jusafzajs atgādina pasaulei vienkāršu patiesību, ko daudzi nevēlas dzirdēt — sievietes un vīrieši ir pelnījuši vienādas iespējas uz izglītību, brīvību un neatkarīgu identitāti. Viņš dalās ar stāstiem no paša dzīves un savas meitas Malalas dzīves, kuru 2012. gadā sašāva Taliban tikai tāpēc, ka viņa uzdrošinājās iet uz skolu. „Kāpēc mana meita ir tik stipra?”jautā Jusafzajs: „Jo es neapgriezu viņas spārnus.”
