Considered as pests in general, ants are one of the most misunderstood species. Social, resilient and hardworking, ants and humans share many common traits. From delegation of tasks in colonies to their peculiar way of paying taxes through sharing the contents of ‘social stomachs’, parallels can be drawn between their behavioral patterns to that of us, humans. Hence, there is much to be learnt from these tiny beings who together weigh as much as all humans combined.
