V rámci TEDxRainier sa Patricia Kuhl delí o úžasné zistenia o spôsobe, akým sa bábätká učia jeden jazyk za druhým -- počúvajú ľudí vo svojom okolí a "robia si štatistiku" o zvukoch, ktoré musia ovládať. Dômyselné laboratórne experimenty (a skeny mozgu) odhaľujú, ako 6-mesačné bábätká používajú sofistikovanú logiku, aby porozumeli svojmu okoliu.
