Deb Roy, cercetator la MIT, si-a dorit sa inteleaga cum a invatat copilul sau sa vorbeasca -- asa ca a instalat camere video in intreaga casa pentru a capta fiecare moment (cu unele exceptii) din viata fiului sau, apoi a procesat 90.000 de ore de video pentru a putea vedea cum "gaaa" se transforma incet-incet in "water" (apa).
