Lang geleden stond Steve Addis in New York City op de hoek van een straat met zijn 1-jarige dochter in zijn armen. Zijn vrouw nam een foto. Het beeld was de inspiratie voor een jaarlijks vader-dochter-ritueel, waarbij Addis en zijn dochter poseren voor dezelfde foto, op dezelfde hoek, elk jaar. Addis deelt 15 foto's die hij koestert uit de reeks en verkent de redenen waarom dit kleine, herhaalde ritueel zoveel betekent.
