MIT-onderzoeker Skylar Tibbits bestudeert zelfassemblage -- de idee dat we in plaats van iets te bouwen (een stoel, een wolkenkrabber) materialen creëren die zichzelf bouwen, zoals een dna-streng zichzelf bijeenritst.
