Violist Robert Gupta en cellist Joshua Roman vertolken Halvorsen's "Passacaglia voor viool en altviool als ware het een master class over samenwerking. Roman speelt de altvioolpartij op zijn Stradivarius-cello. Krachtig om zien is de verbinding die van moment tot moment ontstaat tussen de twee muzikanten - en de manier waarop ze een akkefietje in het midden van hun vertolking te boven komen. Ze zijn allebei TED Fellows, en de vonken in dit sprankelende duet komen voort uit hun diepe verbintenis.
