Violist Robert Gupta en cellist Joshua Roman vertolken Halvorsen's "Passacaglia voor viool en altviool als ware het een master class over samenwerking. Roman speelt de altvioolpartij op zijn Stradivarius-cello. Krachtig om zien is de verbinding die van moment tot moment ontstaat tussen de twee muzikanten - en de manier waarop ze een akkefietje in het midden van hun vertolking te boven komen.
