Zonlicht zorgt ervoor dat ons lichaam vitamine D aanmaakt, maar dermatoloog Richard Weller vermoedt dat zonlicht nog een ander verrassend voordeel biedt. Nieuw onderzoek door zijn team toont aan dat stikstofmonoxide, een chemische transmitter die rijkelijk is opgeslagen in de huid, vrijgemaakt kan worden door UV-licht.
