리비아에서, 자하라 랑히는 독재자 카타피를 쫒아냈던 "격노의 나날들"이란 운동의 운동가였다. 하지만 -- 그 후엔? 그들의 첫번째 선거에서, 리비아인들은 후보자 명부를 혁신시키고자 했다. "지퍼 (Zipper) 투표지"를 만들어 남성 후보자들과 여성 후보자들을 양쪽에 동등히 표기했다. 이러한 노력에도 불구하고, 지배적이고 배타적인 정체된 정치가 여전했다. 자하라 랑히는, 현 시점에 리비이에 필요한 것은, 경쟁이 아닌 협력 그리고 격노가 아닌 연민이라 제안한다.
