2011년 일본의 지진과 쓰나미 속에서 사람들은 가족과 사랑하는 사람들이 담긴 사진을 잔해에 섞여 잃어버리거나 손상을 입었다. 사진 수정 일을 하는 베씨 맨슨은 지역 봉사자들과 온라인을 통해 모집한 사진 수정 작업 동료들과 함께 지역 사람들의 사진을 세척하고 수정하면서 그들의 기억을 복구하는데 도움을 주었다.
