안소니 아탈라 박사의 최첨단 연구실에서는 인간을 위한 인공 장기 (근육에서부터 혈관, 방광에 이르기까지 다양한 기관들)가 배양됩니다. 이번 강연에서 그는 오븐처럼 생긴 생물반응기(사람의 체온과 같은 섭씨 37도로 설정되어 있음) , 그리고 인간의 신체 조직세포를 찍어내는 기계 등 공상과학 영화에서나 등장할 것 같은 장비들을 사용하는 생물공학 연구원들의 모습을 보여줍니다.
