Molto tempo fa a New York, Steve Addis si trovava in un angolo della città con in braccio la figlia di un anno; sua moglie scattò una fotografia. L'immagine ha ispirato un rituale padre-figlia che si ripete ogni anno, in cui Addis e sua figlia si mettono in posa per la stessa foto, nello stesso angolo, ogni anno.
