Et si chaque ampoule électrique dans le monde pouvait aussi transmettre des données ? À TEDGlobal, Harald Haas présente, pour la première fois, un dispositif qui pourrait tout à fait le faire. Avec le clignotement d'une simple diode électroluminescente (un changement trop rapide pour être détecté par l'œil humain) il peut transmettre bien plus de données qu'une antenne relais téléphonique -- et ce d'une façon plus efficace, plus sûre et généralisée.
