Lorsque Dave deBronkart a appris qu'il était atteint d'un cancer rare en phase terminale, il s'est tourné vers un groupe de patients sur le Web souffrant de la même pathologie -- et a trouvé un traitement médical dont même ses propres médecins ignoraient l’existence. Ça lui a sauvé la vie. Il en appelle désormais à tous les patients pour qu'ils communiquent entre eux, qu'ils s’approprient leur dossier médical, et qu'ils améliorent leur prise en charge, un e-patient à la fois.
