Et si chaque ampoule pouvait aussi transmettre des données ? Au TEDGlobal, Harald Haas présente pour la première fois un dispositif qui permet de faire exactement ça : utiliser le scintillement d’une ampoule à diode électroluminescente (LED), variation trop rapide pour être détectée par l’œil humain, pour transmettre plus de données qu’une tour de téléphonie cellulaire, et cela de façon plus efficace, plus sécuritaire, et avec une portée bien plus large.
