Britta Riley voulait cultiver elle-même sa nourriture (dans son minuscule appartement). Avec des amis, elle a donc conçu un système à partir de vieilles bouteilles en plastique pour faire pousser des plantes -- en se servant des réseaux sociaux pour faire de la recherche, des tests et des modifications et essayer de nombreuses variantes à la fois afin d'obtenir rapidement un système optimal.
