Britta Riley quería cultivar su propio alimento en su pequeño apartamento. Fue así que ella y sus amigos desarrollaron un sistema para cultivar plantas en botellas desechables: investigando, probando y perfeccionando el procedimiento utilizando los medios de comunicación social, experimentando diferentes alternativas a la vez y llegando rápidamente al sistema óptimo.
