We are living in times when the challenges we face can often seem immense. As well as political strife there’s climate change and species extinction alongside conflict and poverty. Now, more than ever, we need people who can inspire us to take action to address issues which can feel overwhelming. Pat Smith examines how each of us has the potential to inspire others and looks to activists who have effected positive change on a mass scale by their simple actions, to teach us how we can all play a part in a more hopeful future.
