Στη Λιβύη η Ζαχρά Λάνγκι έλαβε μέρος στο κίνημα «ημέρες εξέγερσης» που βοήθησε στην ανατροπή του δικτάτορα Γκαντάφι. Αλλά --τι έγινε μετά; Στις πρώτες εκλογές, οι Λίβυοι δοκίμασαν ένα πρωτοποριακό σύστημα υποψηφίων, το λεγόμενο «zipper ballot» που εξασφάλιζε τη συμμετοχή ανδρών και γυναικών, εξίσου. Για μια ακόμη φορά, επικράτησαν οι ίδιες αδιέξοδες πολιτικές κυριαρχίας και αποκλεισμού. Αυτό που χρειάζεται η Λιβύη τώρα, προτείνει η Λάνγκι, είναι συνεργασία κι όχι ανταγωνισμός, συμπόνια κι όχι οργή.
