Η Britta Rilley ήθελε να καλλιεργεί τα δικά της λαχανικά (στο μικροσκοπικό της διαμέρισμα). Οπότε αυτή και οι φίλοι της ανέπτυξαν ένα σύστημα καλλιέργειας φυτών μέσα σε πεταμένα πλαστικά μπουκάλια - χρησιμοποιώντας τα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης έκαναν έρευνες, δοκιμές και βελτιώσεις του συστήματος, δοκίμασαν διάφορες εναλλακτικές και γρήγορα έφτασαν στο βέλτιστο αποτέλεσμα.
