Als ein Krieg zwischen Israel und dem Iran unmittelbar bevorzustehen schien, lud der israelische Grafikdesigner Ronny Edry ein Poster auf Facebook, welches ihn selbst und seine Tochter zeigte. Die gewagte Botschaft: "Iraner... wir lieben [Herz] euch." Andere Israelis erschufen schnell eigene Poster mit der selben Botschaft - und Iraner erwiderten in ähnlicher Weise. Die simple Handlung der Kommunikation inspirierte Facebook-Communities wie "Israel liebt den Iran", "Iran liebt Israel" und sogar "Palästina liebt Israel".
