Když Nancy Lublinová začala posílat smsky teenagerům, aby jí pomohli s její organizací zabývající se sociálními problémy, narazila na šokující věc -- tihle teenageři jí začali smskovat zpátky a svěřovali se s jejich vlastními problémy, zahrnujícími šikanu, depresi, zneužívání atd. Nancy v reakci na tuto situaci založila krizovou smskovou linku a výsledky fungování této linky jsou možná mnohem důležitější než Nancy čekala.
