يقول عضو البرلمان البريطاني روري ستيوارت: " ثقة الشعب بالديمقراطية تتلاشى". لما نتج في العراق وأفغانستان من أنظمة فاسدة بعد تطبيق الديمقراطية. 84 بالمئة من البريطانيين يعتقدون أن الديمقراطية معطلة. في هذا المقطع المهم يقدم ستيوارت دعوى للتحرك لإعادة هيكلة الديمقراطية من خلال معرفة أهميتها ليس كأداة وإنما كقيمة .
