Kakenya Ntaiya a conclu un accord avec son père : celui de passer par le rite traditionnel maasai de l'excision en échange de son accord pour aller au collège. Ntaiya explique comment, sans crainte, elle est ensuite allé à l'université puis a travaillé avec les anciens de son village afin de construire une école pour filles dans sa communauté.
