Social Choreographer / Dance activist
Daniel is an artist, social choreographer, educator and curator. He has a strong interest in social dynamics and the community. This canvas is the focus of his work.
He uses choreographic installations, performances and art interventions to explore and realize the potential for harmony and beauty in society.
Daniel works with wide range of communities, social groups and local residents to create inspiring and uplifting works.
Other then performances, Daniel creates choreographic events and choreographic installations, focusing on social dynamics, manipulation and transformation of spaces.
He showed his work in venues like The Royal Opera House, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Dance House, The Place and other various spaces, festivals and fashion shows.
For the past few years Daniel is working as the artistic director of number of dance and arts festivals (Islington Dance Festival, London Belly Dance Festival, and Outsiders Arts Festival).
He gives regular classes, workshops and courses around Europe for professional/non professional dancers and he is specialized in dance for people with special needs and disabilities and older people. He creates and delivers dance education programmes for wider communities as well as choreographing fashion shows (London fashion week, Garry Webber, Hassan Hajjaj) and art events.
