About Me

I have been teaching English at an elementary school for 2 years. I'm engaged in working with young students, thus helping them progress in learning social skills and knowledge. I also have great interests in educating marginalized people and building systems for them. Since I was a college student in English language education department, I have volunteered for marginalized people such as the diablled or poor-family students. However, the social system in Korea society to support those people is very poor. What I want to do through TED is see how people can be connected with each other and how the connection can develop social means to meaningfully educate learners and change our local societies.

More About Me

I'm passionate about

As time goes by, problems that seemed to be local have been considered global or inter-local, and collaboration of social organizations through techniques and knowledge has recently been suggested as

An idea worth spreading

I have a philosophy that education is most important in one's life whether it is a human being or a nation, and it takes time all the time.

English Divide is a social problem that Korean encounter. English has been the primary issue in the private education. As English has been seen important, finantial status of parents determines the learners' English proficiency. In this respect, English discriminates the rich and the poor. On the other hand, English Divide shows the importance of social service teaching and learning.
