About Me

안녕하세요! I'am Bogmin, a licensee/curator of TEDxKT.
I am working for KT (Korean Telecom) as a manager of intenet business strategy & social service design.
Here are th reasons why I became a TEDx organizer.

First of all, I have a dream to help people by sharing good ideas.So I am passionate to spread good ideas to people.
One of my way to share wonderful ideas is using blog and email. I usually gather good ideas in my own blog. And I send the best one with my updated news to my friends every other month. The name of my blog is "Bogmin's Utong". Utong means sharing or spreading in Kororean. (http://shareblessing.com) It has been 4 years I began to send this news letter through email. The number of receiver is now over 1,100.

Second, I think that TED is one of the best source of good ideas.
When I got to know about TED, I was totally amazed becasue TED has so many good ideas worth spreading of wonderful speakers from all over the world. Now I love TED talks and use many TED talks in my news letter.

Finally, I want to introduce the value of TEDx to my colleague who work with.
After I attended several TEDx events in Korea, I realized that people can be changed by TED experience. Through the talks from amazing speakers and activities TEDx offers, people are positively motivated and learned many things intensively. So I decided to share this amazing TEDx moments with my colleague.
I work for KT the biggest telecom company in korea. I am a licensee and director of TEDxKT and TEDxKT is corporate event. It seems that people are not passionate in company even though they are enough ardent about something. I want people to be motivated and inspired by TEDxKT so that they become more happy and passionate.

An idea worth spreading

Hi my name is Bogmin. I am passionate to spread good ideas to people.
I usually gather good ideas in my own blog. And I send the best idea with my updated news to my friends once a month. I call this email "Bogmin's Utong". http://shareblessing.com Utong means sharing or spreading in korean. It has been 3 years I started to send this news letter. The number of receiver is now over 1,000 people. When I got to know about TED, I was filled with joy. Because TED has so many good ideas worth spreading. Actually, I include some TED talks in my news letter. My last letter is including the talks of Neil Pasricha and Rickwaren.

People don't know that I'm good at

My TED Story

We had such a great TEDx event 4 times. Each event was awesome and amazinig.
But, the most memorable anedote was in second event.
Every attendee raise their hand when a speaker asked people to promise each other keeping his message in mind.
This is because all people were inspired and moved with the message the speaker gave.
I am happy to have the picture of this moment because I think it is one of the best picture to express "TED Moment".
