About Me

A recent graduate of Camosun College's now defunct Applied Communications program. I was also privileged to be staff writer and photographer for the college newspaper during my final year.
I pursue communications, videography and journalism in my day-to-day ventures.

I currently work at the University of Victoria's Farquhar Auditorium as the Client and Audience Services Coordinator and feel lucky to be back in the realm of culture and creation.

I contribute to many TEDx events in Victoria and Vancouver, BC. Also, I make myself available to participate & contribute to mutually-beneficial mentorships and volunteer opportunities with diverse groups and events. I have been a core organizer for TEDxVictoria 2011, 2012 and now 2013.

I am an idea person, an opener and a closer. I put value in connecting people to the individuals, groups or ideas that can help someone along in their journey.

My TED Story

I was hooked after the first exposure: Sir Ken Robinson's take on Education.

I co-founded TEDxVictoria in 2011. Our annual events are held in November.
I have assisted in various roles on other TEDx events: TEDxUVic, TEDxJuandeFuca, TEDxMileZero, TEDxVancouver, TEDxRainier, TEDxVictoriaSalons and of course the TEDxVictoriaLive and TEDxWomen simulcast events.
I was very fortunate to attend TEDxSummit 2012. I am a better organizer and human being from having that experience and meeting so many amazing TEDx organizers from around the world.
