About Me

Alfred von Escher was born in Zurich 1965. Self-taught from 1992 to the 1995 he worked as Tutor for young people to the department of the Social Activities in Zurich. From 1995 to 2002 he was the Production manager at Migrosmuseum Zurich working with international artists between which: Urs Fischer, Maurizio Cattelan, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Douglas Gordon, Atelier van Lieshout, Paul Thek, Ugo Rondinone, Susann Walder, Marije van Warmerdam, Juan Munoz, Sylvie Fleury, Angela Bulloch, John Baldessarri, Fabrice Gygi, Alicia Framis, Christine Borland, Mike Kelley, Carlos Amorales, Piotr Uklanski, Olaf Nicolai. In the years 2000-2002 he was in charge of the development of the Industry plans for the Swiss government for EXPO 02. In 1998 Von Escher opened his own studio in Zurich/ Palermo, where he takes care of communication, design and architecture. In 2010 a new adventure begin with studio427 http://www.studio427.it
