About Me

Frederico Dinis currently attends the Doctoral Program in 'Governance, Knowledge and Innovation', offered by the School of Economics of the University of Coimbra, and organized by the Centre for Social Studies, with the aim to study territorial political economy and analyze the development of intelligent territories and innovation systems.
He is also Licensee & Curator of TEDxCoimbra, TEDxCoimbraSalon, TEDxCoimbraED and TEDxYouth@Coimbra and Founder of TEDxAveiro & TEDxCoimbra.
He received his Graduate Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Coimbra and he also attended the Doctoral Program in Management from University of Coimbra and the Master on Innovation and Knowledge Management from University of Aveiro.
He is President of Flying Thoughts, a nonprofit association for the promotion of ideas, which aims to develop, promote and enhance knowledge and practices in creativity, talent, innovation, entrepreneurship and idea management.
He was Research Facilitator of University of Coimbra with the aim to promote research and to be R&D Units liaison, working on the R&D Promoting Office and on IIIUC - Institute for Interdisciplinary Research of University of Coimbra.
He was also Partner & General Manager of inCentor, an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Portuguese SME, Co-Founder of inovar.te, the Portuguese Innovation Magazine, Executive Director at CCIM - Coimbra Centre for Innovative Management and Partner & General Manager of Self Energy Innovation, a knowledge management start-up in the renewable market.
He has written several articles related with innovation, entrepreneurship, intellectual property, technology transfer & knowledge management issues. He also has organized more than 50 events in various fields, involving more than 200 speakers and 5.000 attendees.
