A comment on Talk: Kathryn Schulz: On being wrong

Apr 25 2011: Well, it really makes me think to Seth Godin's themes but it's still great to have these reminders that motivates us to take the risk of being wrong.

En revanche les sous titres français sont décalés ce qui rends la compréhension assez difficile.

Feb 24 2011: An actual demonstration of how your culture and everyday life influence the way you think and how much we should consider more often to reverse our state of mind !

A comment on Talk: Pranav Mistry: The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology

Feb 24 2011: A very intersting talk, what I liked the most was the vision of how we can use our computers in a more human, emotionnal way. Personal computers interface evolved so slowly since it was invented. I am always wondering why all computers looks pretty much the same from the operating system to the physical interface.

Nervertheless I am wondering if the technology that is shown in this vidéo is really a 100% working. I have a big doubt on this subject. I think that we are still very far from seeing this kind of interactions in our everyday life.

It is still very intersting and inspiring !

A comment on Talk: Theo Jansen: My creations, a new form of life

Feb 16 2011: Really poetic and ingenious machinery. It makes me think of a merging between ecology and steampunk !
  • A comment on Conversation: What's the overlooked gem, the book I haven't read that I must?

Feb 15 2011: Seth, I must say that once I discovered Linchpin my mind really changed but I don't want to flatter you too much so I would like to suggest my bible, a book that really impressed me...

It is The Story of Art by E H Gombrich. This book is really the Standard on Art history. It is so easy to read and detailed, short chapters that cover an era of styles and artists. You can feel as you read the pages the huge culture of Gombrich. I recommend this book to everyone, not only people interested in Art.
