Patricia founded Silverbirch Associates in 2008, specializing in sustainability communications and CSR. She has held senior communications roles in Fortune 100 companies over 25 years in Japan including Goldman Sachs, IBM and Standard Chartered Bank. She is a Professor in globalization studies for the Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business and also lectures for the McGill MBA from where she holds an MBA in International Business. Patricia is married with four children.

My TED Story
I assisted the first TEDxTokyo as Director of Partnerships and got hooked on the idea behind TEDx. With my colleague Anthony Willoughby we planned another TEDx experience a short time later on the Great Wall of China (see TDxGreatwall.ning.com) and are now looking forward to the third annual TEDxGreatWall. I also curated the forst ever TEDxAoyama (Women) in Tokyo in 2010.
