My TED Story

On June 4th 2010 TEDxRotterdam was born! TEDx is a great tool to unite special people with dreams, smartness and passion. I organized the first edition of TEDxRotterdam and am working on the next edition. I know TED from NYC where I lived. As soon as it was possible to organize a TEDx event I wanted to do it good, big and for my city. Together with many partners TEDxRotterdam was made possible. I believe in bringing together different minds, each with unique knowledge and experience, in order to come up wih new solutions. Innovation will occur at the border section.
To design our world we need a combination of the best of life: classic style people, energetic and driven people, people who are not afraid, smart and creative people. Cities, governments, universities and companies need to redevelop themselves to stay on top of what life is about. We must always look further, dig deeper, go through complex issues and hard times to find beauty. It's already on the table!
