More About Me

I'm passionate about

Helping others find their passion and providing a support network for those pursuing their passion.

An idea worth spreading

I believe the world would be a better place if we all did what we loved to do. I believe if we did this, we would treat one another with more integrity, respect, and grace.

Talk to me about

Education, especially transforming the education system. Travel. Having life adventures. Being extraordinary in all we do.

People don't know that I'm good at

Staying calm in intense situations, which makes me a good travel companion.

My TED Story

I attended TEDIndia in 2009 and made some great friends from amazing parts of the world. I now provide opportunities of a lifetime for my students to be part of something larger than they ever thought possible - through organizing TEDx events. We use a collaborative, entrusting, democratic approach to planning the event where each member of the team feels respected and empowered. This helps us get to an end product that each and every one of us feels ownership of and, as a result, the final product is better than it could have been with only one or two people planning it. We also make some great friends and build some incredible life skills along the way.

I believe in TED's mission of ideas worth spreading and appreciate the opportunity TEDx provides to find local voices who have ideas worth spreading and help them spread them.
