My TED Story

I have been following TED online for some time.
TED has become the foundation of almost all my teaching, I might be obsessed.
TED has become my VuJa De agent, getting me to look at things different even though I see them all the time.
I hope that from TED I discover how others have managed to refine the communication process to draw others into their innovation circle.

  • A comment on Talk: Graham Hill: Less stuff, more happiness

Oct 10 2011: This is such an important idea. Maybe we need to think a little more about what we need and what we want and connect it to the bigger picture. This is a must see for the new and growing consumer generation!

A comment on Talk: Handspring Puppet Co.: The genius puppetry behind War Horse

Mar 31 2011: This was one pof those moments where imagination took over and allowed you to see what your mind wanted to see.

I sat at TEDActive and was holding my breath waiting, as if the horse was alive!

We all have imagination and this is a perfect example of attaching to it to create a moment of wow.
  • A comment on Conversation: Test Schools, Not Children

Feb 15 2011: I think this is one of the greatest failings of our education today, from K through University.
We spend too much time on the box and less about what we are getting out of it.
Is part of the problem that the educators and administrators cannot see beyond what they have been part of?
  • A comment on Conversation: What's your favorite single sentence from a TEDTalk?

Feb 15 2011: I loved Elizabeth Gilbert saying "I showed up for work and did my part".

This piece was in reference to her genius in the room as she tried to get the job done!
