With a keen attention to detail and passion for finding out what is true, I work to pinpoint the essence of contemporary issues and present my vision in compelling ways.
Over the years I have collaborated with numerous international publications and humanitarian organizations including The New York Times and International Herald Tribune, COLORS Magazine, ELLE, Der Spiegel, the United Nations Organization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC), Unitus, and Water.org.
My photographic work has been exhibited around the world in venues which include Centre Pompidou (Paris), La Triennale di Milano (Milan), and the Shanghai Art Museum, and I have also been fortunate to be honored with several awards over my career, including a scholarship to FABRICA in 2006, a Human Rights Press Award in 2008, and a Fellowship from the TED Conferences in 2009.
So far, my work has taken me into more than 20 countries across five continents, and I currently lives a nomadic life with my wife, Anita, and our son, Tian.
