A comment on Talk: Chimamanda Adichie: The danger of a single story

Apr 2 2013: I am a journalist because I have this desire to burst thought bubbles. It's quite unfortunate that people bereft others of their dignity because we have a very fragmented perception of reality in general. When people start buying stereotypes, it is difficult to destruct conventional images. But it's not impossible. So thank you, Chimamanda, for your inspiring talk.

A comment on Talk: Jill Bolte Taylor's stroke of insight

Oct 8 2012: Came across this video last January when my aunt had a stroke and was declared brain dead a day after. This really moved me. Sometimes we think too much of ourselves because our brain is a life-force power of the universe. Life ends when this vulnerable brain stops working. Humbling talk. Thank you Jill for inspiring me to organise a TEDx conference!
