Sehar is the Innovation Fund Manager at Ilm Ideas; a program dedicated to finding innovative solutions to Pakistan's numerous education challenges. The daughter of school teachers and a school teacher herself, Sehar thinks that good school teachers are the world's true super heroes. She's trying to be a good teacher. She is a firm believer in the need for an education system for Pakistan that prioritizes critical thinking in classrooms.
When she is not trying to find innovative solutions to Pakistan's education emergency or ways to make her high school students see sense and develop the ability to think logically and critically she likes to write, cook and paint.
Sehar is a certified feminist with a bacherlors degree in Women and Gender Studies from Yale University and also a certified nerd with a Masters in Public Affairs and International Development from Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School. She was a founding member of the think tank Jinnah Institute and continues to be a research fellow and contribute to the institute's research and policy discourse on education, governance and extremism.
Sehar is also dedicated to the pursuit of good food, all things pink and is prone to fits of laughter at inopportune moments.
