I currently live in Chattanooga TN. I was born in Alaska and am an Eskimo (I do not think the term Eskimo is offensive). I served in the Navy aboard the USS Alexandria, a fast attack submarine. (no there are not any windows on board the sub). I love to climb rocks and ice, I eat too much, I like to do crossfit when I am up to the challenge, and I like to drink Guinness. I would travel if I could do anything I want.
Living a life worth living! Chattanooga TN.
Your ideas have power! At any given moment you may have a thought or an idea that could change your life and or the lives around you. We need to be more aware of the power of our thoughts and ideas. Our ideas are alive and tend to thrive when shared with others. When we choose to collaborate great things can happen. Take time to share your thoughts with like minded people or even people who are not so like minded. Don't be afraid to have your ideas criticized or even rejected. This may lead to growth! Your ideas will evolve over time and need the room and attention to grow.
Life. The things that inspire you. Anything you are passionate about. Whatever you are willing to fight for.
The first TED talk I ever heard was on a leadership retreat for my office. Our team leader shared the Toni Robbins TED talk with us and I absolutely loved it. The short format, the intensity of the talk itself, the very idea of giving the best talk of your life in 18 minutes or less. This led me to start watching TED talks and somewhere along the line I stumbled onto Simon Sinek's TEDX talk about the golden circle. After listening to his talk I stopped everything I was doing in my business and my teaching and started over again working from the aspect of why and not what. I can say that hearing that talk changed my business and the way I see life and now I feel compelled to share the TED talk experience with as many people as I possible can.
