My TED Story

I've been a TED.com talk fan for a long time. I attended TEDxMuskegon in 2011, and was so stunned by the imaginative, creative, optimistic people and the powerful event they produced that I wanted to organize a TEDx event in Jacksonville....and TED.com approved a license! I've since attended a TEDxScottsdale event and spoken with six other TEDx organizers. All have been helpful. We've built a very capable, excited, imaginative team that loves everything about TED. We plan to bring more TED to North Florida, not only by producing TEDxJacksonville, but also by presenting two or more annual live-stream TED events, and through public relations and outreach to encourage more people to engage with the ideas expressed in TED talks.
