Born and raised in Malaysia, and currently living in London. Passionate about social welfare and development economics in the developing world. Cant live without - sports, traveling and a good book. Can be pretty random at times, but thats how I roll!
Who are we to decide what constitutes as a civilized society? or a successful society? - is it better to live in a modern but busy and hectic environment where everyone lives in high stress levels and more often than not, earn money they do not have time to enjoy or live in a rural area with the basic needs to live but being perfectly contented and happy ? - obviously national statistics would favour the former. Should this not be a choice of personal preference - not one of right and wrong? An idea I play around with when I'm waiting for the bus..
