Interested in building and studying social networks, local development, inclusive economic development, communal work and traditional knowledge, I have been travelling the last two and half years through different Asian countries. During this time I have lived among different local traditional cultures, learning healing techniques, spiritual practices, agricultural models, in constant contact with elder teachers.
After having worked in the private sector for eight years, I again inclined toward the search of well being holistic models, process I had started at university. In this way I want to integrate my professional knowledge, with the various elements gathered during this last years, dedicating my talents to the generation of balanced sustainable life models, in projects aimed at communities.

We started an eco tourism project at a rural location in Colombia. It involves projects amongst the rural communities of this areas. We have an itinerary cinema which travels around rural areas, screening inspirational movies which address sustainability matters; we work with children living in rural areas to generate personal development dynamics; we document elders from the region, and spread their message to the younger generations; and we work the land, trying to regenerate traditional agricultural models and spread them throughout this region.

We want to irradiate transformation towards a better wold, starting at a local level in Guatavita, Colombia, and eventually spreading to more distant places. We have a farm - life project, a place for people to come, share, and transform. We provide eco - ethno responsible tourism, and engage guests into local social dynamics. We host a rural itinerary cinema, an amazingly strong channel to spread ideas, as TED's, and spark actions which generate change. We host projections at rural schools, and generate discussion and exchange spaces, documenting as well local knowledge.
Basically, we think conjugating balance (health, food, relationships, emotions..) with creativity can really make a difference and start processes towards a better world.
Sustainability, art, culture, food, travel, grassroots movements, inspirational ideas which can make this a better world, organic agriculture, permaculture, spirituality, fairtrade, innovation.
Connecting people, ideas and cultures towards generating transformation.
I started watching TED a few years ago, completely loved it. Then I included TED talks into a curriculum I was designing for a Buddhism and sustainability course. A friend organized TED x Ceiba, an independent event at Bogota, Colombia, and through him I got to know and be fascinated much more about TED.
I organized TEDxGuatavita with a group of Colombian enthusiasts interested in rural transformation. The main theme was Hay Campo en el Campo, which translates "there is space, opportunities at rural areas" It was an amazing experience. Many projects started after this TEDx event, and we are starting a platform Campo Abierto, to reduce the gap between ideas and actions. We have also hosted TEDxGlobal, and TEDxYouth day live stream events, which have grown our TEDx rural community.
