The entrepreneurship behavior as a true competitive advantage in today's world. Create business. Innovate. Turning ideas into opportunities. Make things happen.

Mar 16 2012: Was it just me or anyone else didn´t understand a clue of what he said??

I mean... it didn´t make sense to me at all...
  • A comment on Talk: How simple ideas lead to scientific discoveries

Mar 14 2012: Einstein already said: "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler."

Farther still, Da Vinci once said: "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."

Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction =)
  • A reply on Talk: Larry Smith: Why you will fail to have a great career

Mar 13 2012: Thank you for the words Olga, I´m glad you liked.

Yeah... I must agree with you as well. By the way, very well pointed. What most people doesn´t know or doesn´t want to see is that all those genius that you quoted, they worked really hard and dedicated themselves to perfect their craft for their entire life! Speaking of Mozart, he started to play the piano since when he was a little boy, with age 4... and he practiced more than 8 hours per day, every single day!!! Even so, he only managed to make his first master piece when he was 20... that´s 16 years of practice and self dedication in perfecting his craft...

My perception of today´s society is that most of people are too lazy to pursue their dreams that for any reason they settle down and start to put the excuse of their own failure on the "genius"... It´s just sad...

A comment on Talk: Larry Smith: Why you will fail to have a great career

Mar 13 2012: I have to agree with him. It´s not about talent. It´s not about hability. It´s simples comes down to one question: "how hungry you are". How hungry are you to improve? How big is your apetite for success?
What are you willing to do to reach your dreams?

The professionals, the best of their crafts, they don´t care about the "no sayers", they don´t care about the dificulties, they don´t take days off. They are 100% setting their ways in perfecting their crafts.

So what´s the difference between you and them? The professionals, they are the ones that are willing to knock on the doors of complete exhaustion every single day. Are you knocking on those doors of exhaustion or are you just uncomfortable? You see, been uncomfortable is not exhaustion... been uncomfortable is your mind quitting before your body. Being uncomfortable is saying no to try again. Achieving greatness happens when you are willing to do something that will kill you just to make you better at it.

Nobody ever said that being successful would be easy.
  • A comment on Talk: Susan Cain: The power of introverts

Mar 13 2012: When she says that "There's zero correlation between being the best talker and having the best ideas.", I think that she means they´re not mutually exclusive. Someone that has the best ideas doesn´t necessarily is the best talker and vice-versa.
