About Me
Dominic is the owner of Studiolo Design on historic Canyon Road where he writes, illustrates, and designs. Cappello’s work in health and safety received national attention when his Ten Talks books series on youth safety and health were featured on Oprah, catapulting Ten Talks to the NY Times bestseller list. Cappello also manages the youth injury, violence and substance abuse prevention initiative The Resiliency Corps and co-instructs the course Youth Safety, Health and Resiliency at the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus. He has called Santa Fe his home for five years after living in San Francisco, Stockholm, Seattle, and New York City.

My TED Story
After years of enjoying TED videos I attended my first TEDx in ABQ last year. I was immediately struck with the thought, "This is one amazing, creative model for community mobilizing around issues that can make a huge difference in the lives of New Mexicans."
