About Me

Born in Reykjavik, Iceland 1972. Majored in modern languages in college, have a bachelor's degree in English and Political Science and two master's - in public administration and international policy studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies where I now work as manager of public and community relations. Before that, in my native Iceland, I worked as a television reporter and deputy news director for 365 Media. I have covered everything from volcanic eruptions, political debates, human interest stories and business news as well the aftermath of 9.11 in New York City and an official visit to the U.S. that included singing for George W. Bush on his birthday in the Oval Office in 2005.
